Le-Roche Optometry in Collingham, situated conveniently between Leeds and Wetherby, opened in May 2017 with the ultimate aim of providing a more comfortable and less clinical experience for our optometry patients. Our vision is simple, ‘to help you look after yours’, is reinforced in every element of the business, through the elegant reception filled with shelves of stylish frames available to try on, the hospital grade equipment ensuring a thorough eye examination, and the expertise of our qualified and experienced team.

Routine eye exams
Your Vision Consultation
At Le-Roche Optometry we understand you only have one pair of eyes and we know how important it is to look after them, so we provide a thorough and extensive vision consultation ‘to help you look after yours’.
From the eye examination we can establish a benchmark to compare your eye health long term and review changes overtime which can help us to detect eye conditions early. We recommend that you have a comprehensive eye examination every one or two years, depending on:
– your age
– risk factors including family history of glaucoma or macular degeneration
– the findings at your last eye examination
– whether you currently wear corrective lenses
You can rest assured that we have the expertise and hospital grade equipment to ensure that your eyes are in the very best of health, along with the style, comfort and convenience at our friendly practice in Collingham. We take great pride in the high standard of personal service we are able to provide as an independent specialist.
We take the time to find out about changes to your eye health and lifestyle, to carry out a rigorous vision examination including OCT screening and wide digital photography as standard, and to monitor and compare your vision for changes overtime and detect eye conditions early. We then review the results and discuss these with you to help you chose the right eyewear to suit your current prescription, lifestyle and budget.

Michelle Le-Roche, Owner and Optometrist
Michelle has spent the last 25 years mastering her trade, studying a BSC in Optomery, whilst gaining invaluable experience working in different areas of the optometry sector. She has taken this experience, and local knowledge of the community, to create a practice which caters to all lifestyles and budgets and which offers a local, convenient and comfortable one stop optometry shop for the people in and around the Collingham, Leeds, Wetherby, Harrogate, York and Tadcaster area.
We have a highly experienced and fully qualified Dispensing Optician called Janet who works with Michelle. She spends time with patients following an eye examination, or those simply looking for new eyewear, fully reviewing the prescription and exploring their visual wardrobe to find the style that suits their needs from our wide range of brands and price points.Whether you want something to make a professional statement, or something comfortable for the occasional use, we have the experience to help you make the best decision for your eyewear. With our team’s help, we will ensure you leave us with the right frames for you.
